2025 Annual Conference - Speaker Announcement - Mark Saxby

13 November 2024 (Last updated: 13 Nov 2024 09:21)

We are delighted to announce another of our speakers for the 2025 Conference.

Mark Saxby is more than just ‘another social media expert’. Combining his experience as an award-winning BBC and ITV journalist with his expertise gained after setting up one of the UK’s first specialist social media agencies in 2011, Mark and his clients have generated more than £20 million in sales through social media. Mark believes the key to successful social media is knowing how to win over your customers rather than just understanding how the networks work. Mark also founded the Positive Social charity, which helps children take back control of their lives from social media.

Mark will be providing us with two sessions at the conference

'How to Win Over Your Audience and Get Results Through Social Media'

It’s not enough to know how to use social media, you also need to know how to win over those that use it. This interactive presentation will show you how a more thoughtful use of social media will generate meaningful results for your organisation, helping you finally get the results you’ve always wanted. You won’t come away from this session with the tricks and tips you’ve heard a hundred times before. Instead you’ll be inspired to be different. You’ll leave determined to raise your social media activity to a new level, making you stand out in a way you never have before.

How to Be More Productive at Work by Being More Colin:
Would you like to get more done at work? To get away on time feeling like you've been REALLY productive? Research shows employees spend on average two hours of every working day using their mobile phones for personal activities, affecting their productivity, effectiveness and mental health. Yet phones were meant to help, not hinder us! This workshop will show you what you (and your teams) can do to get more done at work while resisting the distractions of social media and more!
